Over 30 different independent restaurants, bars and food vendors will be setting up camp in Carnaby Street for the first ever Carnaby Street Eats food festival this Sunday from 11am.

We will be popping down to the London Bridge Open Kitchen at the White Cube, Bermondsey next week for some alfresco dining, served by top chefs from some of London Bridge’s most popular restaurants.

This weekend the Lambeth Country Show is bringing a twist on countryside traditions to South London. There will be home grown vegetables, sheep dog displays, chutneys and, er, camel racing.

It’s the start of the crayfish season, and this week Scandinavian Kitchen celebrated with a crayfish party. We wore our crayfish hats and bibs and enjoyed Aquavit, Vasterbotten pie, gravalax and of course plenty of crayfish!
